go BIG or go home!

My birthday celebrations started out on Thursday the 2nd of April at work. I was taking Friday the 3rd (my actual birth day)off to go snowboarding for the 3rd time ever. My co-worker Mary bought me some cake slices! There was Double Chocolate, White Chocolate and Marble. They were all really good! Then Lynnette got me some mint chocolate chip ice cream! The combinations of all 4 was just to die for! It was so much fun. See the video at the bottom for the birthday song! hehe




Friday came and snowboarding was upon us! We had a bit of a snag to get to Copper Mountain because it was snowing and icy and a semi jack knifed on the road. We were sitting ducks for an hour. We got to Copper and hit the slopes! It was by far the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER (other than the day I was born). I'm extremely sore but hey! GO BIG OR GO HOME. So I learned/taught myself how to carve with Cindy and Ben's help! They were great teachers! Here are a bunch of pictures of me and of Cindy and Ben and some with the 3 of us and videos of them doing some jumps. Oh! and also some of me trying to carve and me falling. It was the 4th time down the hill and we were all so warn out, I didn't have the stamina to carve forward. haha. There's one where i carved forward then back again but ended up on my knees anyway. Oh well. I'm just starting. Point and laugh...but you can't do what I do :P LOVE YOU ALL!
























My friend Clovis sent me flowers to work. I had to go pick them up after snowboarding! AREN'T THEY BEAUTIFUL! I love'em! They apartment smells so pretty!



These videos are of the birthday celebration I was given at work. David B. calls me trouble! :D He's just upset because I'm taking over his "Prankster" title. haha. Then there's videos of snowboarding. I fell a lot because it was the 4th run and I was beat! But the last video of my boarding I did carve on my front edge and then knelt down so I could get my camera back. Then on the drive home we saw 2 rainbows!!! that has to mean that it was a killer birthday! It was the Best Birthday EVER!
