I Wanna Wake Up In A City That Never Sleeps

About 2 weekends ago i went out on a date with my friend Justin who lives here in NJ cuz he's here based with the airforce. We decided to just keep it casual and have a few things lined up to do. We wanted to explore Manhattan and check out Canal St. I had to buy some purses! Notice how mine went from green to an awesome red one!!! We were entertained by our subway critters and sculptures. We saw the courthouse and this other building that i can't remember the name of...it's the first picture. Anyone know?.... After we got done shopping in the top secret apartments of Canals St and walking around looking for that perfect purse we decided that we had worked up an appetite and wanted food! We hopped back on the subway and headed towards the direction of Serendipity 3 (yup the one from the movie! Finally!!) We didn't really have any plans on where to eat we kinda just wanted to find a place. We found this Indian Restaurant that made some amazing food. Just out of pure luck it wasn't too far from the subway and not too far from Serendipity. After dinner we started walking toward the famous restaurant. We only had to wait for about 10 min and then were seated. (be warned if you ever go there you have to order at least $8 worth PER PERSON) We ordered a chocolate cake and of course the frozen hot chocolate. It was everything i dreamed it would be. The chocolate cake was blah but that frozen hot chocolate pretty much hit the spot! I highly recommend it if you ever get the chance! Our tummies were full and we were ready to head on home. We had a little ways to go to walk and then of course our subway trips and then the Path home and THEN drive from the station back to my place! After a little photo session in the subway we were home! It was an awesome date and Justin was such a trooper handling looking at purses for over an hour! Over all a great date. Minus the rain and forgetting my debit card and ID... :D Check out my next post for some photography i did while in the subway systems
